You cannot see it. You cannot hold it. But you can feel where it has been β and what it has changed
pneuma Β· G4151 Β· GREEK
The Greek word pneuma (ΟΞ½Ξ΅αΏ¦ΞΌΞ±) moves through Scripture in three registers: it is the wind that moves where it wills and cannot be controlled, the breath that enters lifeless forms and makes them live, and the Spirit of God himself β present, active, and given to those who belong to him. Like the wind, you cannot cage it. You can only feel where it has been.
Which aspect of pneuma describes what you most need from God's Spirit right now?
